Our past week in Frankfurt

This past week we worked, of course, but we had a lot of fun on the weekend. We had our good friends, Dirk and Xandra Elbert, over to meet Samuel and have dinner and drinks (but not for Xandra, she is due to have her fist baby (a boy) at the end of March) and to visit. It was great to see them again! We also walked around Frankfurt and I got to play on some great German playground toys. Samuel had his first doctor's appointment over here on Friday and his new German doctor is very nice. He weighed 14 lbs. and was 24.5 inches long. It is good to know he is getting bigger. Here are some pictures from our week!

You can click on each picture to make it bigger.

Here is Samuel in his camouflage outifit his Uncle Jim
bought him.

This outfit was the first thing ge got from his
Uncle Jim, it just took a while to fit into it.

Kind of a pouty face - but still cute!

Samuel playing in our bed right before bath time.

In the covers!

Our friends, Xandra & Dirk, with Samuel. They are
expecting a little boy at the end of March!

Samuel taking a seat on Xandra's belly.

Samuel and Randy playing.

Samuel and his toys.

Samuel showing off his 'shy smile.'

Samuel laughing at his mom while we are playing.

More laughing with his mama.

All bundled up getting ready for a walk.

Me pushing Samuel on our street in Frankfurt.

Randy pushing Samuel in the park near
our apartment.

A Mini car dealership near our neighborhood.

A restaurant and church we passed on
our walk.

A church near our neighborhood - it
reminds me of Guardian Angels Church in
Manistee - where we got married.

Me climbing a very fun jungle gym in the park near
our house - this thing would never fly in the U.S.A. due
to the liability issues with kids hurting themselves, but
it sure was fun!

Me at the top of the jungle gym - very fun!

Samuel and I cooking in our kitchen - he
loves being in this wrap carrier!

Oh, the sleepy wrap is the same as the one I have - the Moby Wrap. Yours almost looked like a Mei Tai wrap because you have it tied on so pretty. Mine always looks a mess. :) I still need to learn how to nurse in it, but we love it for trips out and about, and it makes a great nursing cover when unwrapped for now!
