Today we had our final doctor’s appointment in Germany. I am flying home on Sunday, Aug. 17; the time here has gone by so quickly! Our appointment went very well. First they hooked me up to a heart monitoring machine and monitored the baby’s heartbeat for twenty minutes. The baby’s heartbeat ranged anywhere from 135-142 beats per minute, on average. Randy and I were laughing a lot while we listened to the baby because it kept on kicking, and whenever it kicked, it made really loud noises on the heart monitor. It seemed like our baby was saying “take that!” to the devises strapped to my stomach. I also had another ultrasound and we were very happy to see the baby has flipped since our last appointment, so its head is now down :-)! We also were able to see its face, and it looked so cute! We saw its tiny little nose and mouth, and its eyes were closed like it was peacefully sleeping. The baby weighed 2,224 grams, or 4.9 lbs. – so it still on the big side. The doctor said everything seems great and the baby appears to be very healthy. Here is a picture of me and a video and some pictures of our baby!

You're still looking great!! I absolutely love your baby bump! Did you feel the baby flip when it went from breech to head down? I can't wait to see you in a few weeks!
