Randy's B-day & Samuel's first weekend at home

This weekend was Samuel's first weekend at home, and we had a lot of fun visiting with family, celebrating Randy's 29th Birthday on Sunday (Sept. 28) and watching Notre Dame kill Purdue Saturday. Randy's parents came to our house on Saturday to celebrate Randy's birthday and watch the football game. Randy and his dad played golf, my mother-in-law and I did a little shopping, Randy's Aunt Laureen, Uncle Dean and cousins came to visit us for a little while, and we celebrated with Randy's favorite pizza and caramel apple pie. Earlier in the week, my Grandma Loretta came to meet her great grandson and yesterday (Sunday) my parents and my Grandma Vernita and Grandpa Dick came to visit and meet Samuel. Randy had a very nice birthday and Samuel, Randy and I are really getting into the swing of being home and a family. Everything is going great! We are working hard at getting Sam into a schedule, so gradually we are getting a little more sleep at night, Sam is eating well and Randy and I are getting a lot better and faster at changing diapers, feedings, and soothing and dressing Samuel.
