I am just over half way done with my pregnancy, and the baby and I are doing great! I had a doctor's appointment this morning and the baby seems to be very healthy and it is HUGE! It weighted 482 grams (which is almost a pound; and the average weight at week 20 is 300 grams), and it was 16 cm (6.3 inches) from crown to rump (legs not included in measurement). It must be the German food that is making the baby grow so fast. It is also very active. It kicks and moves around all the time. Randy can feel it moving in my belly, which is a lot of fun for both of us. As you can see, my belly has gotten a lot bigger. It is very obvious, even to strangers, that I am pregnant. This weekend Randy and I went to a small town about 40 minutes from Frankfurt called Aschaffenburg. Our friends live there and they took us to the castle, gardens and parks, and then they cooked us a great German style dinner at their condo. We had a great time, and it is nice to be making new friends!
