This past weekend we rented a car and Randy drove for the first time in Europe. We rented a Fiat Panda and took it on the Autobahn to Freiburg and Breisach Germany to meet my mom and my grandma and then we took a bus in to Colmar, France. We had a lot of fun, and it was great to see my mom again before she went back to Michigan. On Sunday, some of Randy's high school friends from Portland came and stayed at our apartment in Frankfurt. Here are some pictures.

Look very closely at the gargoyle on the

Downtown Colmar, France. We loved all the old
buildings and signs. In the background is St. Nicholas Church.

Saint Nicholas Cathedral in Comar. This is the church of
the real Sait Nick, a.k.a. our Santa Claus.
