The beginning of April & the end of March

We had a lot of fun at the end of March and the beginning of April enjoying the warm and sunny weather in Germany (it was a big change from what we have experienced since we got here in January). The temperatures have been in the upper 60s or low 70s and all the Spring flowers are in bloom. We have been taking Samuel outside for long walks and we went to the Palm Garden (a huge botanical garden) in Frankfurt.

Samuel is getting bigger and stronger all the time. He can roll and he is a pro at sitting up on his own. He also has a really funny personality. He loves horse-play, and he is always laughing and making funny noises. He seems to learn something new every day! It is a lot of fun to watch him figure stuff out.

Here are some pictures from the beginning of April and the end of March. Click on each picture if you would like to see it bigger.

Look at how big I am!

flowering trees at the Palm Garden.

I'll have a large milk please.

Such a sweet Spring picture. Samuel seeing daffodils
and tulips for the first time.

Samuel getting ready for his first Easter.

Samuel LOVES to be outside.

This is one of his many funny faces! He was laughing here
and being silly.

And another funny face! This kid cracks
Randy and I up. He is a lot of fun!

Playing before bath time.

Showing off for the camera.

Samuel is really enjoying his teething cookies!

Stretching out in his crib.

Going out for a family walk on the weekend. Don't
we look cool in our shades?

Smiling and having fun playing on the floor.

Samuel is still a huge fan of bath time. He now is the
most happy when he can be sitting up by himself.

pair of sunglasses.

Playing with his cars and trucks. He loves these toys!
